We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you prepare for our special day. If you have a question that isn't answered here, please contact us directly.
The dress code for our wedding is formal/cocktail attire. Men are encouraged to wear suits, and women can wear cocktail dresses or formal evening wear. Please avoid white, ivory, or champagne colors as these are reserved for the bride.
Due to venue capacity limitations, we can only accommodate the guests named on your invitation. If your invitation specifies "and Guest," you are welcome to bring a plus-one. Please indicate their name when you RSVP.
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. The only exceptions are immediate family members and the wedding party. We hope this gives you an opportunity to enjoy a night out while the kids stay with family or a sitter.
Please RSVP by June 15, 2024, so we can provide an accurate headcount to our vendors. You can RSVP by emailing us at ryan.dana.wedding@gmail.com with your name(s) and whether you'll be attending.
Yes, both the ceremony and reception venues offer parking. The St. Mary's Chapel has a small lot with limited spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Grand View Hotel offers valet parking for $15 or self-parking for $10. There are also several public parking garages within walking distance.
Yes, we will provide shuttle service between the ceremony and reception venues. Shuttles will depart from St. Mary's Chapel at 4:15 PM and 4:30 PM. If you prefer to drive yourself, the reception venue is approximately 10 minutes from the ceremony location.
Yes, both venues are wheelchair accessible. The chapel has a ramp entrance on the south side of the building, and the Grand View Hotel is fully accessible with elevators to all floors. If you have specific mobility requirements, please let us know in advance so we can ensure you're comfortable.
Absolutely! Please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP. We'll work with our caterer to provide suitable alternatives. Please note that we need to know about these requirements at least three weeks before the wedding.
We'll be serving a plated dinner with options for chicken, beef, or vegetarian entrées. Cocktail hour will include a variety of passed hors d'oeuvres. A dessert table will follow the cake cutting.
Yes, we will have an open bar throughout the reception. It will include beer, wine, and standard liquors. Signature cocktails will also be available.
We're registered at Amazon and Target. We've also set up a honeymoon fund for those who prefer to contribute to our experiences. You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website.
While we appreciate your generosity, we encourage you to ship gifts directly to our home address rather than bringing them to the wedding. This helps us ensure that nothing gets misplaced during the celebrations.
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We've hired professional photographers to capture these special moments, and we want everyone to be present and enjoy the experience without distractions. You're welcome to take photos during the reception!
Yes! We'd love for you to use #RyanAndDana2024 when posting photos from our wedding on social media. We can't wait to see the day through your eyes!
Yes, we'll share a digital album of our wedding photos with guests approximately 6-8 weeks after the wedding. We'll update the Photos page on our website once they're available.
